Nearing the completion of EDC3100 I am reflecting on my learning journey through this course and have identified the below findings;
- I understand and am aware of “the issues and strategies available to support the safe, responsible and ethical use of ICT in learning and teaching” and feel that I implemented these practices successfully while on professional experience;
- I was able to identify my professional experience site’s policies and processes related to the safe, responsible, and ethical use of ICT in learning and teaching which were made available to me at the beginning of my placement and induction with the site coordinator; and
- ICT skills are required by secondary students as they start to embark on learning the content and context of real life learning experiences. For students to complete these tasks and learning activities they must be using the relevant ICT resources available to them and used within the relevant industries.
I feel that I have achieved the standards required by me to be competent in the APST 4.5 standard.
